“Peshtoremont” Co.  is established in 1900 on the basis of two private companies, which activity is dated from the beginning of the year 1893.
During the period 1945 - 1990, the company has been known as "PESHTOREMONTSTROJ". Two thirds of it has been privatized in 1997 by means of mass privatization and one third of it by means of cash privatization and the State keeps minority share of 6,6%.
Since 2000 “Peshtoremont” Co. is with 100% private capital.

The Company has a big machine fleet: lorries, engine-powered trucks, industrial concrete mixers, compressors, concrete guns, front loaders, loading machines type “Phadroma”, transportation belt conveyors, installations type “Uraka” for industrial washing with water under pressure of every type of pipelines and boilers in Thermal Power Plants and metal details and equipment with large overall dimensions.

“Peshtoremont” Co. has been participating in the erection and the repair of the biggest metallurgical equipment – the blast furnaces in “Kremikovtzi” Co. and “Stomana” Co., Pernik. The Company has built three blast-furnaces and worked out over 20 overhauls of these blast-furnaces

The last overhaul has finished with putting in operation the First blast-furnace in “Kremikovtzi” Co. on 05.11.2002.
The investments for this overhaul are 50 million EUR.
